My favorite subject

This is my penultimate semester and I have a clinical pharmacology, this subject is not easy but I enjoy studying it.

To be able to take a clinical pharmacology it is necessary to have approved three subject’s pharmacology two, clinical Biochemistry and biopharmacy and pharmacokinetics, this is because clinical pharmacology is a subject very integrative where study of the effects of drugs on humans and with different physiopathology conditions.

In this subject, we have theoretical classes where we see the use of drug in older adults, pediatrics and different physiopathology in addition, we have seminars where we see analysis of real clinical cases presented and discussed by students, this activity is very stressful, because after the presenting clinical case, we must defend the choice of drugs based on current treatments, possible interactions with other drugs and foods, doses and because that drug is better and not another of similar action and the questions are very difficult.

I like this subject because I have learned to integrate previous knowledge and to value more
the role of the pharmaceutical chemist in the selection of the drug, it is an art.
